Update on our Urgent Call to Action

Welcome Home Autumn!

I am elated to share with all of you that Autumn is back at home, and she is THRIVING!

THIS is why we do what we do. I received the following update from Autumn’s mom, Hope:

We do plan to seek restoration and justice for Autumn, so plan to keep telling her story! I also don't want anyone to wind up without a network if they find themselves in our circumstances - two other families had CPS called on them around the time we were leaving, so that is obviously the hospital's MO. Just wanted to give you an update and express my immense gratitude for your help, we wouldn't be home without you. And as scary as it is to admit, and surreal to look back on, there were nights where I was afraid they were going to murder her for cover up - and Remnant may have been the primary thing that stood in their way.

You may absolutely share! We are forever grateful that at the moments of true terror where we felt so alone in fighting for her, we had all the prayers and thoughts of your community with us in that hospital room. The nights where she was in wrist restraints and thrashing in delirium on the ventilator and they're pumping her with boluses of morphine and fentanyl and telling me they need to administer an antipsychotic will haunt me for the rest of my life., especially as CPS is trying to take her parents away from her care. The only thing that calms me down is knowing I wasn't actually alone in that room with Autumn, I had all of you. There are no words for that.

There are so many who contributed to getting this beautiful child home where she belongs. I’m certain I’ve left someone off this list, my apologies if I have.
