**Subject: Targeted Attack on Our Financial and Communication Accounts**

Dear Valued Members and Supporters,

We regret to inform you that the Nurse Freedom Network has recently become the target of a coordinated attack aimed at undermining our financial infrastructure. Specifically, Stripe, our primary payment processing account and several associated financial platforms, as well as our e-mail communications have been compromised.

-  We suspect that this fraudulant activity began on or around September 16, 2024

**Affected Services:** Primary payment processing account, Givebutter, and several of our e-mail communications.

**Immediate Impact:** Temporary suspension of financial transactions, including donations and membership fee processing. Sending/Receiving email communications.

This attack is not just an assault on our network’s operational capabilities, but a direct challenge to the principles of freedom and advocacy that we uphold. It is clear that these actions were intended to disrupt our ongoing efforts to advocate for the rights and freedoms of nurses and patients across the nation.

**Steps We Are Taking:**

1. **Investigation:** We have engaged with experts to conduct a thorough investigation into the breach. The aim is to ascertain the full scope of the impact and identify the perpetrators.

2. **Security Enhancements:** We are working tirelessly to strengthen our security measures and restore the integrity of our financial systems.

3. **Law Enforcement:** We are reporting this incident to the relevant authorities and will cooperate fully with their investigations to hold those responsible accountable.
